So the time has almost come until the Heart Essex Wedding show opens its doors and I am busy finalising all the plans that I have been making over the last 6 weeks. In between wedding consultations and creating bespoke flowers, my head has been awash with colours, themes and designs for my exhibition stand.
I am starting to get a little nervous, but excited, as it is the largest Wedding Show in Essex and is expected to be busy. I usually attend smaller venues, one to ones and email consultations so this is a step up, so fingers crossed!
I have decided to wallpaper my stand, eek! It’s a first so I’m hoping for the best and have packed extra Velcro just in case. I have hung many a wallpaper with the traditional paste method so I will apply the same principle with the Velcro, that’s the idea anyway! To add some interest and colour I have made large tissue paper flowers to really frame the stand and make clear from a distance that flowers are ‘this way!’
One of my favourite things when prepping for a show is finding little beautiful things to put on display to showcase my flowers. I came across a beautiful little set of heart dishes, in a pale pink, with a gorgeous silver shimmer on the underside. They are handcrafted in Turkey using both traditional and modern techniques and are just divine!
All flowers are now boxed, cloths ironed, books and charts packed, notepad, pens and competition entry sheets are all ready to go. Oh and my notepad, a little gift from my children, the perfect colour to match my stand and with the best message of all!
So for those who are attending, we are at Stand 6. Stop by and have a look, have a feel of the flowers, see the beautiful range of Swarovski crystal and pearls and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. We allow brides to be browse, so there is no worries of being jumped upon when you are within 2 feet of our stand!
