Thank you for stopping by to find out more about me.
In my previous career I was a lawyer. Technically I still am, just currently not practising. I have always been involved in floristry and often used it as a way to de stress from busy corporate life.
I remember sitting at my desk one lunch break, after representing a client in court earlier that day, and opened The Times Newspaper. In the centre page there was an article about a lawyer who had given up her legal career to open a Florists shop. In that moment I turned to my Boss and said ‘if I decided to change career I would do this too!’ Little did I realise at the time that that’s exactly what was going to happen.
I feel very lucky that I can now do this full time.
I married my best friend when we were both fresh out of University and I am a mum of 3. We have a cat, a Bengal cross, who is highly mischievous and very vocal!
My ideal night out would be good food and good company. I find the minds of others fascinating and love nothing more than a good conversation which invokes the soul. I’m a school governor, a reluctant runner and really dislike the cold.
I have always been one to stand up for others, a feminist who is not against men, the 2 really do not go hand in hand! I am known to be a bit of a rebel, a word which unfairly gets construed with negative connotations. To me it means someone who isn’t afraid to do things a little different, someone who thinks outside the box and looks just like me and you and anyone else for that matter. So of course when I was embarking on my floral career I was obviously going to approach it differently.
Please feel free to have a look around my website. If there is any information that you would like that you haven’t been able to find, then do not hesitate to drop me an email.
